Fast-Flow
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Overview
Fast-Flow ("Fast-Flow," "we," "us," or "our") provides a Chrome extension and companion web app that let you ask questions about your Google Calendar and make changes to it using natural language. This policy explains what information Fast-Flow accesses, how it's used, and the choices you have.
By signing in and using Fast-Flow, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information Fast-Flow collects
- Google account information. When you sign in with Google, Fast-Flow receives basic profile information such as your name and email address, used to identify you within the app.
- Google Calendar data. Fast-Flow reads and, when you request it, creates or updates events on your Google Calendar in order to answer your question or carry out your request. This is processed at the time of your request and is not stored by Fast-Flow as a separate calendar dataset.
- Conversation content. The messages you send and the responses Fast-Flow generates are sent to Fast-Flow's backend and a third-party language model provider to produce a response. Fast-Flow retains this conversation content for training and debugging purposes, as noted in the app itself. Because a conversation can include details drawn from your calendar (for example, an event name or time mentioned in a request or response), that information may be included in the retained conversation content even though Fast-Flow does not separately store your calendar as a dataset.
- Local app data. Your chat history and interface preferences are stored locally in Chrome's storage on your device, so Fast-Flow can restore your conversation the next time you open it.
As the app itself advises: "Your settings and chat history are stored locally in Chrome. Calendar data is only processed when needed to complete your request and is not permanently stored by Fast-Flow. Avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed."
How information is used
- To authenticate you and connect to your Google Calendar.
- To generate answers and carry out the calendar actions you request.
- To improve the quality of Fast-Flow's responses and to debug issues (conversation content).
- To maintain your chat history locally between sessions.
Fast-Flow does not use your information for advertising, and does not sell your information to third parties.
How information is shared
Fast-Flow shares information only as needed to provide the service:
- With Google, through the Google Calendar API, to read and update events you ask about.
- With a third-party language model provider, to generate responses to your messages. Fast-Flow does not tie a specific provider to this policy, since the underlying provider may change as the product develops.
Fast-Flow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data retention
- Locally stored chat history and preferences remain in Chrome until you clear your history, sign out, or remove the extension.
- OAuth access tokens are managed at runtime through Chrome's Identity API and are not stored by Fast-Flow outside of that runtime session.
- Conversation content retained server-side for training and debugging is kept for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, unless you request deletion as described below.
Your choices
- Clear your local chat history at any time using the delete icon in the app.
- Sign out of Fast-Flow, or revoke Fast-Flow's access from your Google Account permissions at any time.
- Remove the extension from Chrome to delete all locally stored data.
- Email varshneyrishit5@gmail.com to request deletion of conversation content retained server-side, or with any other privacy question.
Children's privacy
Fast-Flow is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to Fast-Flow, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Security
Fast-Flow uses reasonable technical measures, including Chrome's built-in identity and storage APIs, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and Fast-Flow cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
Fast-Flow may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Fast-Flow after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
